OUR HISTORY

Dayspring Kiddies School was founded in September 2017 by Mr. Adebayo Ademola and his wife, Mrs. Grace Ademola, at C14 Z7 Abayomi Street, Behind Capital Hotel, Oke-Arungbo, Osogbo. With a strong passion for quality education and child development, they established the school with just two teachers and twelve pupils. Their vision was to create a nurturing learning environment where children could receive a solid academic foundation alongside strong moral values.

Despite its humble beginnings, Dayspring Kiddies School experienced steady growth. Within a few years, the school expanded its facilities, increased its staff strength, and welcomed a growing number of pupils. The school became known for its commitment to academic excellence, innovative teaching methods, and a well-structured curriculum that catered to the holistic development of every child.

A key milestone in the academy’s journey was the introduction of modern teaching aids, phonics, coding and a conducive learning environment, ensuring that pupils receive the best education possible. The school has consistently produced outstanding pupils, excelling in academics, character, and extracurricular activities.

As Dayspring Kiddies School continues to grow, it remains committed to innovation and excellence in education. Plans for future expansion include enhanced digital learning platforms, improved facilities, and partnerships with educational organizations to further enrich the learning experience. With a strong foundation and a clear vision, the academy remains dedicated to shaping future leaders and making a lasting impact in the field of education.

A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDERS

Dayspring Kiddies School was founded by us, Adebayo Ademola and Grace Ademola, out of a shared heart to serve families and children in our community. We believed that quality education and strong moral foundations should never be out of reach, and together, we set out to build a school where that conviction could take root.

Over the years, it has been a privilege to watch our pupils grow — not just in knowledge, but in character, confidence, and faith. As husband and wife, we bring together our individual strengths and a united vision to guide this school, and it remains a labor of love we are deeply committed to.

Every day, our dedicated teachers and staff work hand in hand with parents to ensure that each child receives individual attention, a safe and loving environment, and an education that prepares them for a lifetime of success.

MEET OUR WINNING TEAM

Meet Our Headteacher

Mrs. Jane Ogaga Ishiekwene

Mrs. Jane Ogaga Ishiekwene brings a rich blend of academic training, leadership experience, and genuine passion for young minds to her role as Head Teacher at Dayspring Kiddies School.

A graduate of the University of Benin with a Bachelor's degree in Education (English and Literature), Jane also holds a National Diploma in Mass Communication from Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku. This combination of communication skills and pedagogical training shapes her approach to teaching and school leadership — she believes that how we speak to a child shapes how that child learns to see the world.

Her journey into education began early, teaching at Eagles Educational Center before going on to serve as a Youth Sister Representative with Deeper Christian Life Ministry, where she led and mentored young people across different schools. She completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2024, further deepening her commitment to nation-building through education.

Jane is known for her warmth, discipline, and creativity in the classroom — qualities that reflect in the culture she is helping to build at Dayspring Kiddies School. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, singing, and engaging in thoughtful conversations that spark curiosity and growth.

At Dayspring Kiddies School, Mrs. Ishiekwene is committed to nurturing not just bright pupils, but confident, well-rounded children ready for the world ahead.

Oyeniran Seun Rachel

Assistant Headteacher (Academics) | Basic 3 Teacher

Oyeniran Seun Rachel is a dedicated and experienced educator with five years of teaching experience and a strong passion for academic excellence. She holds a B.Tech. in Animal Nutrition and Biotechnology from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State. Having completed her NYSC service in Akwa Ibom State in 2023, she brings knowledge, commitment, and a thoughtful approach to both teaching and academic leadership.

As Assistant Headmistress (Academics) and Basic 3 Teacher, she is committed to promoting high academic standards, supporting effective teaching, and helping every pupil reach their full potential.

Esther Siyanbade

Basic 4 Teacher

Esther Siyanbade is a caring and dedicated teacher who is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and develop confidence. She creates a friendly and supportive classroom environment where pupils are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and discover their potential.

With patience, enthusiasm, and a commitment to each child’s progress, she contributes meaningfully to the academic and personal development of her pupils. Her patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching make her an important part of the Dayspring Kiddies School family.

Aina Joshua Festus Basic 2 Teacher

Joshua Aina Festus is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning experience for young children. He encourages curiosity, confidence, good behaviour, and active participation in the classroom. With patience and a caring approach, he strives to support every pupil's academic development while helping them build the values and skills they need to grow into responsible and confident learners.

Rhoda Omolayo Adebiyi

KG 1 Teacher

Aunty Rhoda is a caring, patient, and dedicated early-years educator who is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and develop confidence. As the KG 1 teacher, she creates a warm and welcoming classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves.

She believes that young children learn best through play, exploration, interaction, and hands-on experiences. Through engaging activities, stories, songs, and creative learning experiences, Aunty Rhoda supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and language development of every child, making their early learning experience joyful and meaningful.
